Kids App Qustodio for Android

I’m a 12 year old girl and none of my friends have this garbage app. This app ruined my phone and it is not safe. I feel like my parents don’t trust me at all. This app is just overall dumb and a terrible ideaQuostodio turns off my internet after 10 minutes on my phone. When I was needing to be picked up from school my texts wouldn’t go thru bc the internet was off and so I couldn’t contact my parents. Also, When I’m using an app it lets me have 2 mins with it then turns of the internet >:( DO NOT GET THIS APP! It may be ok for kids but deffinently not for teens. All the other bad reviews were absolutely right. And it messes up my relationship with my parents. And my friends. It limits my social life my not letting me text, call , snap or FaceTime any of my friends. I HATE THIS APP DONT GET IT.

Not sure why, but for like 4 or 5 of my apps, I can open them but they don’t connect to the Wi-Fi. 80% of my other apps work, but apps like TikTok just don’t connect to the internet. My dad and I uninstalled qustodio and the apps that weren’t working to check to see if it worked after that, and it did, so it’s definitely a qustodio thing. We also checked to see if my dad had disabled the apps, but he looked and they weren’t. Also whenever he puts a time limit on my phone and it runs out, all my apps are separated from the folders I put them in, it’s so annoying so I’ve given up trying to rearrange them every time it happens. I wish I knew why all of this is happening.

This app only shows you don’t trust your kid, it’s even worse if you make them have it in high school. Point is the app is good for nothing but control and sowing distrust in your family.

hi, this is a perspective for a 11 year old. My mom downloaded this app 1 or 2 years ago. I HATE it I know I am young and I should be monitored. People say “Great for Kids bad for teens.” Nope it is TERRIBLE for kids as well I used to go on my Mobile with no restrictions no screen time limits it was great then my mom downloaded this app. I feel like I am being watched. (Well I am). My mom can see what app I am on. Even if your watching a show on Netflix, or a video on YouTube, your parents can see the exact video or show that you watched. Anddd there are screen time limits. Now I know your probably thinking “11 year olds need an app like this they are so young still” Well here are some reasons to not get this app for your child. 1. Your child will hate you. 2. Your child will have trust issues 3. Your child will beg you for more screen time 4. Your child will not want to hang out with you anymore So I know this is from a 11 year olds perspective but parents listen to me you child will not like this app at all I mean at all don’t get it And kids if your reading this don’t let your parents get this app beg them, beg them not to get it. Unless you want to be watched 24/7, have screen time limits, and hate your parents. Don’t let you parents get this app DON’T. thank me later
