Articulation Station Hive for Android

Love the new app, I use the old app all the time. I would consider keeping if there was a one time fee . I will not pay for a subscription.

PLEASE make this a one time purchase. You could always charge for any updated features added in the future; the user would then have the option to pay for the update if they felt it appropriate for their caseload & budget. The company I would for said they would purchase for all therapists after I showed my boss all the amazing new features, IF it was not subscription based. I love this app, but it has started to become a $$ drain.

As a busy SLP in the schools, this is my go to app for articulation. I am able to use it with my preschoolers and with my older students. The scenes are a hit with all of my kids. I hope you add more. The syllable level has been helpful and engaging. I hope you continue to add more features so that I can continue to justify the subscription cost. So far it’s worth it but more and different activities/resources are always appreciated.

I have been an Articulation Station user for a while. I thought the 1st edition was great until I tried the Hive! I work in an elementary setting with a caseload of nearly 60. This app is my go-to! It is my daily life-saver. I am able to target each child’s goals. The child can see what they scored on the last session and they try to outdo the prior score. They love seeing the pictures or words, giving themselves the credit which provides immediate feedback on how their sound production was, they love swiping to the next screen, and then seeing their overall score. If I have more than one child in a group, they try to outscore each other. Instant motivation! When it’s time to do progress notes, I don’t spend hours going through data. I simply open my app, go to the child’s name and I can see all of their data/growth! This app truly saves me HOURS of planning, stressing, writing, and analyzing! Hive is my therapy provider and tracker! A one stop shop in my busy therapy day!

I love the articulation station app and little bee products. I have the articulation app, the test center app, and the little stories app. I have used them for years. It works great and saves me a lot of time. I was really excited for this app because it includes minimal pairs and other features. However, the price is too much to bare. Yes, developers, I did use the 7 day trial and used it for a month. If you have “big plans for the app”, don’t charge us for what you haven’t put on the app yet. I don’t want charged for things that aren’t even available yet. The other apps were $60 for unlimited use. This one is $120/year and doesn’t include that many additional features. That’s a $60 increase and it’s charged yearly. Yikes. It should have double the features and more to charge that. This clearly wasn’t made for school-based SLP’s because it’s far from affordable. I wouldn’t recommend this app to professionals or other parents at that price.
