Stellarium for Android

I'm stunned with this incredible app!

This app is absolute dog water. Do yourself a favor and ditch the wack a## Google product and get you an android and get skymaps. Just another reason Google products are garbage.

I’ve been using the more popular astronomy apps for years(star walk, night sky) but recently got more serious about observation. With other apps I have so many mild frustrations with use and the ease of telling how visible objects are at any given time. This app allows me to track my favorite objects and look at the visibility from anywhere at anytime far easier than all the rest. It doesn’t have some of the weather and light pollution research tools than an app like “night sky” includes, but you could combine this with that app or use clear darksky.com to pretty much have all you need to know for good observation.

This is my go to app to use while i try to search objects in the sky with my telescope. Setting magnitude to around what my telescope is capable of detecting is great way to help me find DSO in my telescope. Also i want to thank the developers of this app for giving me ios version for free. I had their paid android app version, after switching to ios, i sent them email asking if i need to buy app again. They responded with a code that unlocks full version for ios.
