works but after u take the photo and try to copy the text u get told to buy it for $4. wasting time. i could have been looking for another app. why wait until after i struggle with the photo taking part (the button is so small)

RE: Text Capture is Excellent

Text Capture is one of the best OCR's I've seen in a long time. I notice many of the negative reviews are from people who complain it's not free (hardly an unbiased review). I did a quick scan from a photo and the process was flawless. Attempting the same using TextGrabber by ABBYY, I kept getting "unable to recognize the image" error every time using the same photo. I am very satisfied with this app, and am done searching for any more of this type. Highly recommended!

Good stuff

This is saving me a ton of time. It’s accurate for the 2 pages I have scanned so far. I tried another one before this and did like 5 pages and it was not very accurate at all. Go with this one.
