I paid a lot of money to get Omnifocus 2 on my phone, tablet, and Android. And it was great, the Omni group are great developers. BUT they decided to iterate to Omnifocus 3. My app was updated as Omnifocus 2 is no longer supported. And now I have to pay again to use Omnifocus 3?? No way! I'm switching away from Omnifocus because I don't want to keep throwing money in the trash. Great app, too bad I have to keep shelling out money to use it.
Very happy with this software - has not let me down so far. Great integration with Devonthink and other apps that are key to my workflow. Would appreciate some built-in calendar extraction tools but could write a script that does a descent job - I just have to remember to run it. Keep at it. A request: please please please keep the one-time payment option.
If you are serious abour productivty and the Getting Things Done mindset, this software is THE software you need. Ive used it since version 1 and without it I'd be LOST-The most important part of my system for excellence is wrapped in this program-Learn It, Use it, Trust It, Succeed! Its a cant lose scenario-
The app works and is fine. The price is outrageously expensive for what it does especially if you want it to sync across your devices. I paid for the Android version and wasn't happy. I recommend Todoist for a more affordable and more user friendly interface.
This has to be one of the most sofisticated productivity softwares out there, and they make you pay for it. However, once you finish dumping your brain into it, all your projects and subtasks, all your ideas to work on, then, good luck trying to create a little to do list out of it and organizing it manually -- it's simply imposssible. You go to forums and all the seasoned gurus of the software can advice you is to write down your todo list on an index card––seriously? All we want to do is to be able to pick and chose single tasks from different projects, put them into a list, and be able to sort them manually in the order that we want to work on, but no, this seems to bee too much for these developers. What a dissapointment
