I tried to go to “app support” and the website it sent me to was all in Chinese. I don’t speak Chinese, so that was not helpful to me. The app is ridiculously slow to register changes in ac settings and I hate it so much.

App failure

Today I received my cube smart dehumidifier with pump. After going through the motions on setting up network on the app I was never able to even use it, as the app got hung up in a recurrent, permanent failed plug-in download. If I cannot come up with a solution in the next couple of days, I will end up considering a return. I am using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and an Android 13 Pro running iOS 16.1.1. Please advise. To follow off, none of the workarounds the developer proposed actually work. Not even using the help feature in the app, the app can I connect to the network.

Midea shut down their prior buggy app for a new one with even worse performance and bugs. I don't understand how they screw up a simple CRUD app
