Grocery for Android

This app is mostly fantastic. It has so much going for it. The syncing with reminders makes it fast and intuitive to use. The Google watch complication is the best in class and was why i got so interested in the first place. I really wanted to love this app but one issue makes it unusable for me: there is no way to customize the order of your list. Every time i get groceries it’s the same order of events (with a few exceptions). I get the fruit then the vegetables then the dairy etc, etc. So i sorted my reminders list in the exact order i get things to make it so i don’t have to scroll through ~60 items to check off as i go. But when the same list is visualized in Grocery, the order is alphabetical lol. I checked in the settings and there is no way to custom sort your list. The major selling point of this app is the Google watch integration but now instead of quickly tapping off items you have to sit there scrolling all the way down to Pepper or Zucchini or whatever. Not only that, the very nice complication is now useless because it is showing you items that might be across the store. There should be an option to preserve the order of the reminders list and if this is integrated i will be buy a lifetime subscription immediately. Until then it’s back to a Notion document for me.

I proudly used this app often and recommended it to friends and family. Opened the app today to find that all of my purchases are gone and can no longer be accessed…? I have to re-purchase a “forever” premium subscription I thought I already had? What’s that about?

Tons of bugs in this app. I enjoy using it and it has become incredibly useful when I'm preparing my grocery list. But, creating recipes is a chore. Half the time I copy/paste ingredients and steps from a website in, go to save, and it saves only half of the recipe I copied over. The Android app is much worse with bugs in my opinion. I sometimes cannot add recipes to the weeks' meal plan, and when it does work then the ingredients in the recipe are blank. Please stop adding features and focus on squashing some bugs.

I have a basic list app. I was looking for an app that syncs with my watch but any app that is looking to replace a pen and paper list better be very easy to set up since basic lists do everything you need. This took more than a few minutes and the instructions weren’t clear so it was deleted.

I wanted a grocery list app which would allow me to make a list, organize items, and print for my husband. This app lets me type a list. Period. It isn't transferring the list to my Mobile and wants to access 'reminders' - I don't want all the grocery items in Reminders. You can't print. I did a screen capture which was had a dark background. Using Pages on my Android would be better.
