Audm for Android

The concept here is appealing but the execution is awful. The readers are so stilted and pretentious sounding, it’s not enjoyable at all to listen to. At $63.59 a year, I decided it was not worth it. When I reached out to inquire about a refund they gave me a lot of run around and punted me to Google, by the time I reached out to Google it was beyond the 10-day refund window so now I’m stuck with this app. I’m incredibly frustrated by this regrettable purchase.

I love the app in concept. But searching for specific content is super-frustrating, and there isn’t any legitimate way to browse. It’s almost easier to search the source publications one by one.

amazing content. High quality voice actors. Terrible tech — crashes, loses place in queue, randomly pauses, etc

This app fills me with rage. It doesn’t let you sort or filter. Search is bad. Please fix it.

Unlike Google Podcasts and every audio app, there isn't a bar that you can use to drag your finger along to the exact point of the track you want. You have to repeatedly tap the "skip forward 15 seconds" button. I often listen to Audm to help me sleep. So if I fall asleep at 10 minutes, it takes a long time get back to 10 minutes.
