UCast for Android

Nice design. Has ability to download individual episodes from a series which I consider mandatory. However you cannot download just one if you don’t subscribe which is lousy. Odd that most apps don’t have this ability. Can even do multiple playlist of individual episodes, but the playlist situation is totally obtuse and unintuitive - cannot figure out how to add to playlists! Only option is fast playlist. You should be able to add individual episodes from any podcast without subscribing. Has all the key features and lots of other deep features. Search is horrible. No ability to search for a person and find episodes of any podcast that interview them or anything similar, only literal podcast title, no specific episodes. Predictive text/partial recognition is weak at best and often you can type full accurate name of podcast and it displays no results found but when you actually hit search it finds the podcast...maybe. Still, hands down best for iOS but please update and really make this excellent

Persistent things to consider: 1) Adding support for steering wheel commands in the car (forward and rewind). 2) UCast hangs and does not continue playback when receiving a call or sending audio texts when it's connected via Bluetooth to either the car or a Bluetooth-enabled speaker. 3) UCast audio quality still needs improvement. Quality diminishes further when increasing playback speed from 1.0 to 1.3 to 1.5. UPDATE: Thanks for the fix on number there above. I removed it as an issue. Added one star. FUTURE CONSIDERATIONS: During playback, you have a swipe right option to view downloaded episodes, are you considering expand on the empty left swipe? It would be useful and nice to have episode notes or information that the podcast provides on the left swipe.
