Furthermore, according to the Holy Torah, other than what our inner state of being reflects on our relationships with people, it also resonates throughout our entire habitat and all living creatures around us, as it says in Parashat Bo (Exodus 11:5) “...all the first-born in the land of Egypt… and all the first-born of cattle (shall be plagued)”. Rashi, one of the most comprehensive commentators on the entire Torah answers the question, “why did the cattle have to suffer the same plague as man?”, and answers that the Egyption’s spiritual state was so corrupt, it corrupted the beasts as well. Since man’s first sin - eating from the tree of knowledge, good and evil have become mixed together and will remain so until the coming of Moshiach.
