EXERCISING YOUR READING AND WRITING Speech therapy The program also has a great influence on the proper development of speech, therefore it is recommended as a supplement to speech therapy. Training effects with the FUN WITH LETTERS program: - correct pronunciation, - knowledge of letters, - preparation for learning fluent reading, - improvement of visual and auditory memory, - improving concentration and auditory attention, - to practice auditory analysis and synthesis, which is the basis of writing and reading skills. HEARING SENSITIVITY NORMALIZATION SHAPING HEARING ATTENTION An ambient sound distractor is an application of background sounds. The program uses sounds from the environment that imitate naturally occurring sounds such as: street noise, sounds of conversations, nature. The sound distractor teaches you to focus on important information, ignoring irrelevant sounds from the environment. The aim is to shape attention and concentration, resistance to distraction by applying the power of a sound distractor, adaptively adjusting to the player's abilities. This feature contributes to the normalization of auditory sensitivity. In the case of difficulties with the task, the power of the distractor decreases, and in the case of correct answers, its power increases. SUPPORT FOR SPEECH THERAPY The application consists of exercises that support the proper development of speech and communication and prepare for learning to read and write. The games practice correct pronunciation, improve concentration and visual-auditory memory. Our application teaches you to recognize, differentiate and pronounce sounds similar to each other, arrange them into syllables and then into words. The application applies to the consonants M, N, K, G, H (backlanguage - palatal sounds). The program is the result of many years of work and experience created by Aneta Pakiela, a neurologist, surdologopedist, pedagogue, PhD student at the Medical University of Warsaw.
