Thanks to the program, the child learns letters, recognizes them or consolidates their knowledge. Knowing the letters, he combines them into syllables and then into words, thus preparing to learn to read fluently. Speech therapy The program also perfectly influences the proper development of the child's speech, therefore it is recommended as a supplement to speech therapy. TRAINING EFFECTS with the ENGLISH FOR KIDS program: - correct pronunciation of letters and words in English, - knowledge of letters, - preparation for learning fluent reading, - improvement of visual and auditory memory, - improving concentration and auditory attention, - an exercise in auditory analysis and synthesis, which is the basis of writing and reading skills. HEARING SENSITIVITY NORMALIZATION SHAPING HEARING ATTENTION An ambient sound distractor is an application of background sounds. The program uses sounds from the environment that imitate naturally occurring sounds such as: street noise, sounds of conversations, nature. Often in children there is auditory hypersensitivity, which is expressed in the fact that the child often clogs the ears, feels uncomfortable in places where there are many sounds at once. Often children have a problem with focusing on what is being said to them, they need to repeat the command several times. The sound distractor teaches you to focus on important information, ignoring irrelevant sounds from the environment. The aim is to shape attention and concentration, resistance to distraction by applying the power of a sound distractor, adaptively adjusting to the child's abilities. This feature contributes to the normalization of auditory sensitivity. If there are difficulties with the task, the power of the distractor decreases, and if the correct answers are given, its power increases. What to do if the child is very sensitive to sounds? You should adjust the volume level to the child's preferences, in the initial phase of exercise, you can mute background sounds by holding down the speaker icon for 1.5 seconds. This function will automatically turn itself on for the next task. Muting should be used in exceptional cases, because this function is especially recommended for children with auditory hypersensitivity, thanks to which the child learns to ignore background sounds as he trains, and the auditory sensitivity normalizes.
