I use it everyday for swimming
I was skeptical but now convinced. I want to start off with why I made this purchase. I own the AirPods but needed something for situational awareness during my jog and also something that wouldn't feel like its falling out of my ear. While truing o shove my airpods back in my ear my running partner (Pearl, my dog) jerked her leash, signaling I’m falling behind and ripped the airpod right out of my ear. I now own a pair of Shokz OpenFit. I'm truly impressed by the audio quality during my workout or even while walking around the house. No one nearby can hear what's playing but I can stay tuned to my surrounding. This is especially important to me while out on the road. It was pure coincidence that my morning jog was missing cars the first couple of days. Not anymore, they are there! I hear them loud and clear. I don't have this feeling I’m going to lose my earbuds or have them ripped out of my ear. At times I forget I‘m still wearing them. I tried them on a short road trip with the kids. Road noise was a huge problem. It was so loud that I couldn't even hear from my earbuds. I’ll stick to airpods if I ever want to tune our road noise. I’m not a bit concerned about this issue as it wasn't the intent of this purchase. App: I love having the app and the ability to customize various settings. I wish you could individually configure each earbud without the preset options. Meaning, choose option A. Meaning left ear bud does this and right does that. I’d prefer if I had the flexibility to decide single tap controls left ear bud play\pause and right controls voice assistant. <haven’t tested the multipoint pairing yet> Overall: the shokz openfit exceeds my expectations. My kids ended up purchasing one for swimming and one for everyday use.
