In this format, information in every pixel is retained, but at the cost of a large file (~ 20MB). PNGs have a high color depth, so the format can easily handle high resolution photos. Izzi Pics allows you to reduce the size of the stored file when a more compressed JPG file will do the job. You control the level of image compression per shot or for a sequence of shots. You can also compress existing images. And with a simple click Izzi Pics also allows you to capture a PNG lossless image giving you an image at the maximum quality of the camera.
