Put it to the test! Playing Beatit for the first time. 1. Press the green 'Play' button (white triangle on green circle) 2. There will be a 4, 3, 2, 1 count in to let you know when Beat 1 will start playing. 3. Level 1 Beat 1 will play through. 4. Your job the first time it plays is to listen to it and memorise it. 5. As Beat 1 plays you will see a grey line move across the screen at the same time – this is the ‘play head’. 6. As the play head moves across each red dot you will hear a kick drum sound and the red 'Play' pad in the lower part of the screen will flash. 7. When the play head reaches the right of the screen it will start again from the left. 8. This time the play head is orange. 9. Your job now is to 'play' the beat by tapping the red 'Play' pad at the same time as it flashed the first time through. 10. When you tap it the kick drum sound will play. 11. When you finish playing you get a score based on how accurately you copied the beat. 12. If you get a score above 50% you carry on to the next beat. 13.
