The newly re-designed course, renamed Elephant Rocks at Williams, quickly earned the reputation of being the best 9 holes of golf in Arizona. Gary Panks returned to build the new 9 holes in 2000 and Elephant Rocks became a premier championship golf course. The ancient elephant shaped volcanic rock formations, for which the course is named, continue to guard the entrance of this beautiful golf course. The awe inspiring Grand Canyon, the history of the Old West, the lore of Route 66, and the iconic Elephant Rocks Golf Course all make Williams the ultimate Arizona destination..
