In Gemix, the clock is perpetually counting down and the only way to reset it and get extra time is by collecting gems. As you clear the gems, you’ll also accumulate points to level up and keep the challenge going! With each new level, the pace will pick up and the board will fill up more quickly with respawned gems. Remember, you’re in a race against time so think carefully because one wrong move could land you in a situation where you’re stuck and then it’s game over for you! While you’re playing, keep an eye out for power-ups to help you level up or get out of a tight spot. There’s one that will match all of the gems on the board to your orb’s color for 5 seconds, giving you the chance to quickly gather them up and collect points. You might also find an explosive barrel to remove the gems around you (great if you need to clear a path) or a clock to momentarily stop time and the respawning of the gems.
