The entries (called "fragments") are limited by size (701 character) which will stimulate writing about the most important things, while other users will not have to read long sheets of text. Also, there's an enforced pace, which doesn't let users to post fragments more often than every 2 hours. This will encourage you to be more aware of what will come into your next fragment. In !Fragmenter there is no communication what-so-ever - no comments, no questions, no “likes” or "dislikes", etc. Thus we prevent the "like-mania" that wears out so many participants of conventional social networks. We want you to feel comfortable writing whatever you like. With each fragment, you are supposed to briefly sum up your most recent experiences, write about something you did or felt in the past few hours. It allows you to not "drift off" for too long in some mechanical or unpleasant activities. Every two hours you can buck up and think about whether you're doing or feeling what you actually like.
