I once posted a 5 star critic here. But now it changes cause SEGA decided to had publicity and adds everywhere and I only can save my progression in their cloud, rather than locally... It's like, I paid the game before and it feels they want me to pay again! But even worst, is that the game is now more demanding somehow, making my slow Android 4S can't even handle this beautiful classic (before this SEGA propaganda and updates, the game worked flawlessly). Thanks SEGA for ruining the experience for me. I appreciate the passion and effort you put in screwing your costumers.

I needed to put out this 'Old School Review' because of the impact of this game in my life. This is probably one of THE most timeless and amazingly playable games of all time. This is Streets of Rage. Streets of Rage (in Japanese: ベア・ナックル 怒りの鉄拳 Bare Knuckle: Ikari no Tekken) is THE true definition of beat'em'up, and it inspired legions of gamers into a frenzy of hours of non-stop gaming. Released in 2 of August of 1991 in Japan, Streets of Rage, just like most of it's kind, was (and still is) extremely addictive but it was also a brutal 'button-masher' and at least for me, it cost me a ton of mega-drive controllers and I'm not the 'aggressive-gamer' type... it's just inevitable. Streets of Rage had two sequels (Streets of Rage 2 and Streets of Rage 3) that did not disappoint their fans and just made it even more challengingly fun to finish all 3 Streets of Rage in a row... i know i did it... like a thousand times over... even last year. Yes, i know what your thinking but this IS definitely one of the most remarkable games of my life and i just have to play it at least once a year. I recommend it, of course, for those who haven't played it (...*silence*...) ...of course you already played it so you know what i mean, right? I'm not going to write about the story of the game which is basically all the cliches in the World combined in the quest of a cop to save the world. But it's so cool to just beat the hell out of all those different thugs and Bosses. It's really all about therapy. Thank you SEGA!
