ShapeViewer is an efficient 3D model viewer capable of visualizing both surface (triangle and quad) and volumetric (tetrahedral and hexahedral) meshes. Have you ever received a mail or a Skype message with a mesh attached while you were away from your computer station and you couldn't wait to open it? Problem solved! This app is mainly designed to allow computer graphics scientists and 3D modelers to quickly explore a mesh on the iPad screen without the need to switch to a mac or a pc app. The main features are: -support for .obj, .off, .stl and .mesh files -slicing and digging to explore the interior of a volumetric mesh -mesh inspector to change position and material properties -element picker -support for multiple meshes in the same view -command console The support for textured models is under development. Currently, it is only possible to load a texture from the mesh inspector.
