I use Travelodge for business travel and thought I’d add their app to simplify booking. Mistake. I tried booking a room at the sandwich Travelodge where I have stayed numerous times. No results. It’s a new ish one, less than two years lol, so I tried updating the app. No updates. Then I tried Kent in the belief I’d be able to select it from a list. No results. At this point I opened the premier inn app which worked faultlessly and booked with them. No idea if I paid more than Travelodge. Budget brand, budget app. Try fiverr. Possibly get the app rebuilt and working for the amount you lost on my 5 day stay.

How can a nationally known brand afford to offer an app that is such a complete disaster. On opening you’re presented with a Hotel List button, this simple leads to an Alert box with an system error message. Try to Book a Room and your presented with a list of a few hundred Hotels scattered randomly around Europe but in alphabetical order. Who’s going to want to trawl through that? Select a city and the screen jurks randomly backwards and forwards. It does not inspire confidence or and desire to provide your bank details if the people who wrote this app have so little idea of how to write an app. I’ve never come across such a mess.

Complicate app. Book a room is not easy... always have problems with the password, its perfect in website but doesn't work in app. Always need reset but is the same password ok in website
