I had a lot of duplicates in a NAS, and I tried to find and remove them with duplicate file cleaner (DDC). DDC had no problem detecting duplicate files and duplicate folders, but failed miserably on the deletion process. After a painful selection of the files to remove, and after a revision of the marked files, when selecting delete, duplicate file cleaner presented a window with "0 files deleted and 0 bytes freed". No error message, no information on why they were unable to delete any file. After “deletion” the files, like the dinosaur in Monterrosso’s micro tale, where still there I tried a manual deletion of some of the duplicates, and Finder had no problem to delete them, so it is a problem of Duplicate File Cleaner. Moreover, I contacted Duplicate File Cleaner Support via email (this is the way the App support button works), and I did not receive any answer, and not even an automatic email with a ticket number BTW, in the Google store I found another app that was at least as effective findind the duplicate files, and is also able to remove them
