The app is exactly what I was looking for. I really enjoy listening and shadowing and it’s perfect. Quilts content and option to use flash cards.
Great app. Add a self-recording feature in general or SPECIFICALLY under 本田家の日常 to compare your voice with natives’ voice in those lessons. Your premium will suddenly become so much more attractive. Another suggestion is when you bookmark your favorite words, there should be examples included in the bookmarked words drawn from the sentences that the words are used. One idea is to have somewhere in the bookmark vocabulary of a word where, let’s say, when you search a particular word, sentences in articles containing that word will show up. This helps learners retain vocabulary more easily as they have the context where the words are used and will know how to use them more properly.
The page clearly states that the app is available in multiple languages including Spanish but the support team tells me it is available only in English.
The app keeps crashing when I click on words (usually place names and people's names, but also on regular words too). When it crashes my Android screen goes black and the app closes.
I really want to use this app more regularly, but then the more I use it, the quicker I remember how difficult it is to use the highlighting function. I want to be able to highlight the exact character I want and, if need be, copy and paste it in a different dictionary. Sometimes highlighting a word can make the app bug out which makes it all the more bothersome. The dictionary in the app is just okay. I wish it would give other forms of the word. For example, the word I highlighted was “盗もう” but the dictionary couldn’t tell me the dictionary form of the word. Actually, the dictionary said “通訳ありません”. If I didn’t know what that form was, I would never know what the word means. A grammar dictionary would also be very helpful in this situation. That could be an idea for the future. I really want to use this app more, but the highlighting and dictionary capabilities hurt more than they help. I’m looking forward to future versions of the app.
