this app is nothing short of brilliant. Microsoft hit this out of the park. It’s very frustrating to have the web content accessibility guidelines and companies don’t use it resulting in horrible user experience. kudos to the accessibility team at Microsoft!
This app has helped me a lot to be independent, and that is a great thing! I don’t have to depend on sighted help to read my mail or any other printed documents. However, it could use some improvements in the “color” channel, for it is very confusing to know what color something is since the app will switch from one color to another and you are like, “Well, which color is it?” Also, the “face recognition” could use some improvements as well. I was experimenting with the feature. I took a picture of a neighbor one day and later one that very same day, I was sitting in my apartment experimenting with the “face recognition”, and it kept saying my neighbor’s name and he wasn’t even in my apartment at the time. Other than the two things that I mentioned in which the app could use some improvements, I am very thankful for this app! I don’t know what I would do without it!!!
A great app. Its a beta version but, its more then I expected. Maybe a feature recognizing objjects combined with the lidar technology would make the app perfect. I have some ideas I will provide. I give it a 4 but will give a 5 for the effort in such a short time.
Hi i was wondering if can update the app and add arabic language please? My dad use this app a lot he can barely see and this app would be super helpful for his main language which is arabic so please Add it (:
This is a good app for those who are visually impaired and blind. There could be a few improvements needing to be made, such as object detection to be more accurate, but overall, this is a very good app, and helpful and useful for the blind and visually impaired.
