CARROT Weather for Android

I used Carrot on my Mobile and i{hone and my wife also under the family plan. Love it! So WHAT IS THIS? It is an embarrasing travesty of ugliness. And for some reason I had to pay $15 for this when I was already under subscription on the other platforms. Seems liek a whoel differnt app, maybe even company. The Dev should fire whoever developed this, remove it from the app store, and apologize by dipping his nuts in honey and sitting on a fire ant hill.

The develop has done a great job with is iOS and iPadIOS counter part but this version looks horrible in comparison. Seems like the developer doesnt care to do any meaning updgrades to the Android version other than bug fixes and performance improvents for what seems like two year almost. I gave this app a low score in hopes the developer sees this.... Update your App to match the iOS and iPadOS already!

There's a minor bug where Professional Mode doesn't work unless you toggle it back and forth. Also, M1 Google Silicon Macs have been out well over years and this app is still old school Intel. If the app was free, I probably wouldn't care (or use it) but I'm paying $30 a year for premium. At least provide a Universal Binary.

If you really wanted your apps to cuss at you... well here pay $15 for the privelage. I set mine to the professional voice, its bearable then. But the speech to text isnt great. it says two dash 5 inches of snow. Maybe spend a little more time smoothing things out like a better UI and speech than creative ways to cuss. it should say Were expecting TWO TO FIVE inches of snow today in your area. Not Two dash five inches. The time machine deal tells you what the weather was years ago. meh. Secret locations are a hidden map with little instructions=junk Its a $5 weather app with built in cussing at you. Not worth $15.

I do not see any responses from the app developer on any of the lower ratings. App needs to be updated to work with Silicon. I do not want to install Rosetta in order to be backward compatible with a Carrot version that is not updated and ready to run on Silicon. Not what I would expect from an App that I am paying a premium subscription to use. Big disappointment that nobody at Carrot seems to care. Sad as well, that I see no developer responses to some of the complaints, AT ALL. It's a great app otherwise. I love the weather information which is as accurate as it can be on average with other weather apps. I love it's irreverent comments about certain political characters and other snarkiness in general. There are many features that I am still learning about, but
