Never try to connect fossil using this app

Very disappointed , when will be the next update???

I got fossil sport watch from a research study so it was not my choice, but, omg both the watch and the app are nightmares. I am known by the digital geek person by everyone who knows me. I have been using a Chinese cheap smart band for years without a trouble, and it has been two days that I’m struggling with this app and this watch! Both are slow and get disconnected multiple times in a day. The connection itself is a nightmare and for the past few hours, it didn’t reconnect anymore so I needed to reset factory and still am struggling with it. I’m disappointed by google.

1) It likely won't detect your watch the first time you try or it'll somehow mess up its own pairing, requiring you manually reset it. 2) It likely won't even connect to your Google account. I had to force stop both network services and Bluetooth to somehow shock it into functioning. 3) It still won't properly function unless you open the app and manually reconnect to your watch every time you move more than 10 feet away from it. I'm selling my Fossil and getting an Google Watch.

I got a Fossil watch today for Father’s Day. I love the watch, but this app is a disgrace. For years people have been complaining and the developers have done nothing apparently. I’m really surprised watch makers aren’t complaint and demanding some changes. Taking my Fossil back to the store tomorrow. Thanks Wear OS for great Father’s Day.
