When it works, it’s pretty awesome. But I’ve had this thing for about three years and every time I use it it’s like starting over. If the app has things set up, the speaker is useless without the app. The analog controls shut down and the speaker is useless. Then just when I think I have it figured out, the app, even when connected via Bluetooth, only opens in demo mode. I just forgot device, deleted and reinstalled, so I’m about to see if it’s gonna behave. Too bad since the speaker is good quality. I will be using it at a brewery show this weekend so wish me luck. (I shouldn’t have to say that for as much as I paid.)
The app works great until it freezes my iPhoneX and won't let me close the app or do anything else. I like the box and fund it great for what we need. But don't use the app.
This piece of junk drops the bluetooth connection all the time. How do you expect professionals to use this? How come the app has not been updated?! Shame on you Mackie for making a terrible app that is good for nothing.
I want to love you but every time I buy one of your products, it seems to fail. I bought the DL 1608 to use for my steel pan gig and I like being able to connect my Mobile into the mixer, but somehow the mixer would end up cause the speakers to creat noise and because I’m a one man musician, I didn’t feel the need to use it a lot. Next I bought the FreePlay, one from Amazon, and one from Sweatwater. I loved using until one day as I was finishing up my gig for a benefit for a library, one of the speakers started to distort causing me not to be able to play. I like your productions but I somehow seem to get defective equipment. I ended up buying the JBL Eon Pro One and I don’t regret buying it. PS: The mixer works great if I use WiFi to connect it, I just don’t have a use for it now.
The app fails to connect and stay connected. Looks like they are not going to fix it either. Last version was two years ago. Too bad
