1. Door de informatie die deelnemers invullen in de app krijgt de GGD Amsterdam inzicht in gelopen risico op HIV en de mate van therapietrouw van PrEP medicijnen (Pre-expositie profylaxe).
2. Deelnemers van het AMPrEP project worden verzocht middels dit elektronische dagboek bij te houden of ze hun medicatie hebben genomen.
3. Dit levert belangrijke informatie op voor nieuw wetenschappelijk inzicht over o.a. de acceptatie en therapietrouw voor de preventie van HIV middels PrEP.
4. Bijvoorbeeld over nieuwe bevindingen of andere belangrijke mijlpalen voor het AMPrEP project.
5. Deze app is ontwikkeld voor het AMPrEP project van de GGD Amsterdam.
6. De GGD Amsterdam kan via een newsfeed berichten sturen naar de deelnemers.
