The Mystery of Haunted Hollow for Android

Oh for goodness sake - just charge $4.99 for your dang app instead of trying to trick players into spending money by giving them no choice but to pay part way into the game. This is an insulting and dishonest approach. Ugh.

Great game. I purchased the hints component and enjoyed it until I hit the hint: “Insert the silver coin in the slot machine in the attic and get a green coin.” I Inserted the silver coin but got no green coin! Thereafter, that was the only hint I received at any point in the game. I kept yelling, “I inserted the silver coin!” I eventually had to reset the game, but didn’t feel like slogging through the whole thing again. A very dissatisfying end to what otherwise was a really enjoyable game.

I loved the game until it came to the part where you can’t get any further without paying $4.99 so if the price in $4.99 say so up front and I would have paid it but wait until someone is loving the game and then charge is an awful thing to do to people!

Doesn’t say ANYWHERE that it’s only a trial version.

You can’t get to the door knockers without paying for their hints and skips. If you don’t pay, you can’t finish the game.
