Nightscout for Android

Nightscout is a game changer for parents who have to monitor their little ones diabetes. it's compatibility with Loop/Kit or Open APS (diy, artificial pancreas) makes it a must. It's a life changing tool. I can monitor my kid's BG of course but also carbs on board, insulin on board, projected BG's, insulin delivery, current basal rate, battery level on his Android & Medtronic pump, units of insulin on the pump and so much more vital info you must have access to so you can appropriately monitor remotely.

This app needs serious updates to the interface, and it needs an Google Watch app too.

This app is a fantastic extension of the nightscout web app. Thank you for all your work. Incredible. Yes, I have donated and encourage others to do so. ;-)

Great app. I use it on all my computers and phone, but my one suggestion is that it not stop audio playing on my phone when I open it. Unfortunately crashes on an Mobile Mini (non-retina) which it was perfect for since the Mobile is older and slower and I can leave NS up at all times.

Using nightscout is awesome. I have a Dexcom G5 and Android so am already able to see my BG readings on my phone, but nightscout has a better UI with more info and more options. Setting up nightscout is not impossible, but will take a few hours (just follow the instructions on the Nightscout website CAREFULLY). For me, it has been worth the effort. The app itself is beautiful and I love all the features and dark mode. Very nicely done. The people working on Nightscout are amazing.
