This app is what motivates me! I love the statistics it provides, the simple layout. I also like how I can compare last week, month and year to the current week, month, and year side by side. The music set up is great and I love how I can set up my own interval workout and customize music for each interval. Improvements: I've lost a couple runs where the app glitches for no reason, the pace in my statistics section doesn't seem to be accurate at all and I'm not sure but it doesn't seem to track well unless the app is open. Can't wait for the next update!
It doesn't track distance very well but who cares, I use 'map my run' anyways. But this is seriously AMAZING for interval runs and the music is on point....honestly the music is so good I find myself screenshotting at least 2-3 songs per run so I can find them on Spotify. And the fact that it senses my cooldowns between my sprints and plays music to match the tempo is an extra bonus. Big fan.
The screen has to be on for it to work. Nor does it work in the background when another app is on.
This app wouldn't work if I tried listening to a podcast at the same time. It seemed to only work if my screen was. It didn't track distance accurately at all. It said I went over three miles when I know I didn't even do two miles. It also doesn't let you edit the intervals; you can't add more or less. I will be deleting it.
Sorry, I'm not going to log into Spotify via this app just so I can listen to background music through another app. The background music gets stopped when the interval prompt voice speaks. The other running app I use doesn't block music from another player like the iOS built-in one. 1 star for "doesn't play well with others".
