I have yet to be able to connect using this app. I can connect with with RepairSol2 app but not this app. Not only that it’s still required to purchase each additional gauge except for the 3 free ones which include rpm, coolant temp, and control module voltage. I’m not paying for the extra gauges even if the app worked properly.
I bought the innova Bluetooth scanner which came with two apps, the code reader app and this one. The code reading diagnostic app works great everytime. This one however refuses to connect. I’ve tried turning key before plugging in device. I’ve tried vice versa. Even when I’m already connected through the diagnostic app this one will not connect. Ironically the tutorial on YouTube refers to this app as the “Gauged” app while it’s clearly called “Gauge”. Makes this seem like a poorly put together app. Can’t even get the name right. If the diagnostic app didn’t work I would absolutely be getting my money back.
Device connects no problem to the RepairSol2 app but cannot get it to connect to this app at all. Unable to see what the app even does for my vehicle.
I bought this device exclusively for the gauge function only to get it home and find out it won’t connect! I have tried everything suggested by the support team in these reviews as well as the onboard tutorial. Each attempt to connect results in the same error “unable to go connect to device”. Can’t take this back to my autoparts store…. Great use of $99…… :(. Was really hoping this would work… I guess you get what you pay for
But the Bluetooth reader because of the free apps that supported it come to find out everything on this gauges app cost money
