I don’t have overall low vision, but this is extremely handy for things like electronics where contrast is low or print is very small. For a friend that has poor vision it is an even more important tool for any sort of small print. Well laid out and useful.
This app really helps me a fear deal to decipher what I'm looking at. I don't usually use it for lengthy reading (like a book), but to figure out what an item is by zooming in on it with the light on or to read small text on handheld items. It's very clear, easy to use and I really love it.

The price complaisant is unbelievable, $.99 cents compared to $400. to 700.00 for a stand-alone model. With a smart phone, there is no reason anyone who is visually impaired. Controls are easy to use and very much like the stand-alone version. The bad: Smart phone magnifiers zap your battery power very quickly. Always have a charger handy. It does sometimes take a few seconds to properly focus. You need to beware of the camera location when focusing in your text. . This is super for a backup or when you only want to travel with one device as well.
