Hate to be this critical, it’s cool that we get to turn our phones into a remote. But not cool that there’s a 1/10 chance of it actually working. This is cannon, not just any brand. You all have a reputation and standard to uphold, this app is well below it. I am constantly getting disconnected, then once connected I am having to struggle to keep it from lagging. Sometimes bringing it closer to the camera can work, other times that doesn’t even work. And no it’s not my wifi. This app really needs some deep fixing because it has ruined plenty of potentially great shots this way.
10/10 works great. I don’t understand why everyone else is struggling to use this app. It’s not that hard.
I have a PowerShot SX160 IS and I tried to look it up and it’s not even registered. Other than that it’s an okay app given I can’t use it.
How can something be quite so bad and no action being taken to fix it?
A promising app, but terrible implementation. Can rarely get it to work. What a disappointment when spending >$1000 on a good camera. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling seems to fix things so it works. I wonder how long this lasts?
