Just incredible! The whole entire San Antonio Public library system online is completely ridiculous, non-logical, non-intuitive, form not following function in any way shape or form. It’s virtually unusable. Wow! Just wow!

Miles ahead of the old app. I don’t feel the need to open the website anymore to manage my books. I still don’t understand why won’t you let multiple login sessions though. Signing in on the website kicks me out of the app and vice versa. There are ways to manage two sessions and keep it in sync. Hope to see that in future updates.
Always crashes when I select For Later. Makes the app almost useless.
1.) Slow load time. Safari will open library site in about 1.5 seconds. The app takes over 20 seconds. 2.) Why does it require location services? It's a good feature, but that might be why it takes so long to load. 3.) No landscape mode? Modern iPhones rotate with your hand of course. Portrait only looks like something from 2011 not 2021. 4.) App "Support" takes users to the Library homepage. (The latest books and library sponsored events.) No tech support if expecting link to help pages. 5.) Log-In Error: "Invalid barcode or PIN." I have my library card in front of me. I doubt the problem is the barcode or number below it. Incorrect PIN? When was this app written? In 2018, a librarian helped me change my "pin" to an easy to remember alpha-numeric password. I have no problems logging in via Safari or second party browser. 6.) The app's feature, "Get PIN" simply emails a link to *reset* your PIN (password?) not retrieve it. 7.) In App rating opens up a draft mail to be sent to a gmail account. Seriously! The e-mail address is *not* San Antonio (dot) gov associated with library, or even a (dot) org associated with community relations and events. I'm mailing some dude with a gmail account? Creepy. Conclusion: I hate to sound so harsh, but this app is an embarrassment. This is the best our library could do with limited funds? I guess so. That's a shame because the money could've gone towards more books, movies, and music. It could have gone towards community events to promote reading, education, and entertainment. Instead, library patrons seem to have been given an app that simply doesn't work as advertised. Very regrettable. I hope the devs can salvage it.
