If you’re happy with paying a subscription for a doorbell camera then Ring is right for you! If you don’t decide to subscribe the doorbell becomes worthless. 30-day free trial gives you person recognition and records every time a “person” is seen on camera (I expected this was just out of the box and not part of the subscription) After trial expires, all you get is an alert when a “motion” is detected and does NOT record the occurrence. Do yourself a favor and don’t drill holes in your wall for this doorbell. Return it while you still can. OR be prepared to pay these guys monthly forever.
Some update must have occurred because my visual now is pink. It looks like it’s constantly at sunset. Please refresh or reset because this is problematic.
With the latest update, the buttons at the top of the dashboard that allows the user to select between disarm, home, and away have disappeared. How is one supposed to change these settings? It seems every update to fix one set of bugs just creates a new set! Disappointed with this app!
