I had one device with a firmware issue and another that just wouldn’t pair. The app didn’t help any at first, but once I sent an email to customer service, they helped with everything and were very knowledgeable, clear spoken, and professional! We started a google meet session and the customer service rep ran me through everything on the advanced side to troubleshoot and fix.
The app resets HomeKit settings every time it’s opened. Use of HomeKit is fine for me - I wish I could use the energy usage reporting and firmware updates through HomeKit app because I don’t like having to rename all my devices every time I open this app
I have 30 Google home products attached. The in wall switches are the only ones that don’t stay connected within the native app or home app.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. As with a lot of hyped technology, this product is not ready for prime time.
What a terrible app. It’s 100% unusable. It forces you to name your home but doesn’t have a working save button. The add device screen pops up and goes away when you hit the plus. I’m quite a bit of money into one device and I can’t even get it added to my network. How did they even go to launch like this???
