Many trails missing. Why not have a main map showing trails so we can connect one trail with another.
I have used this app for a year. It has contributed to discovering many pleasant hiking and biking trails. However, it has failed to tell me that Hollywood Blvd. in the Las Vegas wetlands area turns into a dirt road that requires an SUV to negotiate. Today it directed me to the NV Power Easement Trail in Anthem, via Drumlanrig. There I found no signs, a high fence and a gate that required a gate code from a mgmt. company. Residents were not helpful. I eventually found trail access via a path from Esselmont Park several blocks away. This should have been the indicated start point from the beginning. I would be leery of using this app very far out of my neighborhood because of this sort of experience.
This app is getting better. I'd like to see more detail within the trail maps. Cornerstone has more trails than the one highlighted. Perhaps allowing users to add details themselves would improve things even more.
The app is a good idea and a good start. But it is missing many trails and there is no map interface. An example: I am standing on Fort Apache looking at a trail with a Neon to Nature label. Across the street is a sign for West Beltway trail. I search for nearby trails and the app has a list that says the closest trail is over a mile away. None of the listed trails include the two names I'm looking at. App needs more data.
Good idea bad execution. Another terrible web app from Las Vegas. Waited 10 minutes to search by name and finally got tired of waiting.
