The trip finder system awkwardly assumes and auto-loads during the process, making a relatively simple task unnecessarily complicated. I’m surprised, because the sl.se reseplanering works great—it doesn’t make sense that the app would be so much worse. Also, arbitrarily limiting the purchase of tickets to be loaded on to a registered green card to periodbiljetter is silly. I want the ability to purchase *single-trip tickets* via the app, and load them onto my registered card, which I can see in the app. I can purchase this kind of tickets, but then I have to leave them in the app and can only access them with my phone. Sometimes I don’t want to bring my phone with me. Sometimes my phone’s battery dies and I can’t access the app. I can buy period tickets and load them on the card. Why not single trip tickets? And since mitt sl doesn’t let us register the new green cards, instead forcing use of the app, there is no option to get single-trip tickets loaded on the card except to go in person to an SL center or automat somewhere to do this. Huge step backwards! Finally, what a mess, having some tickets in one place and other tickets in other places—inefficient and bad design. It’s a mess to keep track of which tickets are where and basically end up with two cards: one digital one that is the app (and prone to technology troubles), and one physical one which is the green card. Please remove the arbitrary limitation and let me purchase ALL kinds of tickets via the app, and also load ALL kinds of tickets purchased via the app onto my green card.
Perhaps problems identified in earlier reviews have been fixed. App immediately accepted my US credit card and worked flawlessly on arrival.
I tried to buy a multi day pass while visiting Stockholm, but the app doesn’t accept US credit or debit cards.
Turned up for 10 days in Stockholm, trying to add my credit card or debit card to this app wasted an hour of my life before I realized that this isn’t going to happen. If you want to be the city of the future, perhaps try to figure out how to integrate foreign credit/debit cards from multinational banks.
Very nice complement to the wonderful transit system. I bought my weekly pass in the app and scanned the barcode to enter the transit system. AppleWallet would be much more convenient that opening the app for the barcode. I have no idea why the average rating is so low. Maybe the app used to be very different.
