Prompt is an incredibly powerful tool. I literally maintained a production code base from the subway on my Android with Prompt.
Everything was working great until I “up”graded to iOS16! Aaargh! Is there some switch that needs to be flipped? (back) on to allow a connection to stay active in the background for more than just a few seconds? I used to be able to switch out to another app for even several minutes, certainly long enough to grab the information I need to paste into Prompt, and come back to Prompt. Now if I’m not back within a few seconds my connection gets dropped. VPN problems FIXED! NOW it works again! Maybe you just have to close the app, and only open up after VPN has successfully connected. Broken again, and now begging for reviews. Piss off! I’m overwhelmed. Anyone know how to restore this to functionality that it used to have? Is Google’s VPN not routing port 22 now, or what?!?
Prompt is the absolute best ssh client for IOS. Panic is one of the old school Google indie developers of very high quality software and this app is no different. It’s a fantastic app that easily lets me log into my Linux servers anywhere I have a cell connection. Absolutely top notch.
