I use this app when designing wood projects. It helps me easily figure out how much material I need, what to expect while working, planning for less waste etc. I love this App. Developers are very responsive to any inquiries. If I were to want one feature that doesn't exist today, it might be to have some sort of scale helper... It isn't hard to do the math to figure out your scale on the units, but if I could pick a board size, say letter, then draw a box, then click on that box and somehow choose that the box is 24 mm by 24mm, and the scale then be adjusted mathmatically based on that, it would make this already great program even better, but as is, I love it.
My part-time business needed a logo. After watching a few YouTube videos on logo design, I chose this application to help me create mine. In less than a day, I had my logo created. It looks great! This program has a lot of capabilities, including a lot of tools that are more than just basic. If you are confident using and learning new computer software, but are new to graphics and logo designing like me, I highly recommend this software. But do download the software’s User Guide from the “Help” link, and keep the .pdf open on a second screen while you work on your primary screen. After creating the logo, I “printed” it to .pdf, saved it to Photos and “auto-enhanced” it. The copper color in the logo really popped and looks amazing. It looks fantastic printed on inkjet glossy business cards. For the price, I can’t say enough good about this program and how it helped me.
The program has some good features, but it keeps crashing. When exporting, the program doesn’t akways export in the correct file format, therefore, cannot be opened by receiver. Was cheap enough, but I guess we get what we pay for. I don’t really think I will be able to use it. The program glitches are aborbing way too much of my time.
Great to scale drawing program. I cant believe how inexpensive this program was for what it offers. I really wanted a “Visio” type program and this fit the bill perfectly! I only wish I could figure out how to zoom in and zoom out with a shortcut. Otherwise, FANTASTIC!
User interaction is awkward at best. I was hoping to find something that’s as fluid to use as the drawing tool in Notes on IOS, but that would work on my Android and had more technical features (e.g. dimensions, ability to print at a specific scale), or like SketchUp but for 2D. Unfortunately this program falls a bit short on the "fluid to use" part. Missing features/Usability problems no ability to create construction lines, e.g. drag from ruler onto page to create line to snap to need to reselect tool after every operation (e.g. to create dimensions: select dimension tool, draw dimension, select tool, draw next dimension, select tool, draw dimension, select tool, …) resizing lines works as resize box, not drag endpoint of line resizing boxes doesn’t appear to snap to grid/snap points fractional dimensions aren’t formatted very well (poor separation of whole number/fraction portion) It’s useful enough to accomplish what I need, but I’ll still be looking for another (better) option.
