I bought tickets for a specific venue. I arrived at the venue and received a text that it had been changed to a completely different place. These changes to venue and event time were made only an hour before the event was originally said to start. I am incredibly disappointed that DICE will not give me a refund for this specific event. Something like this allows organizers to completely change the details for events without significant time given to concert goers. Never buying tickets from that organizer or venue again and will be very cautious from now on using this app.
The personal attention and support from this company has been an amazing experience. I wish more companies took the time as the great people of DICE. They answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely and professional matter I would rate them a 10 if I could!
Very difficult to understand, I am on two waiting lists and could not see either. There are events in Los Angeles but it says there are non on its map. External links to the application have no information transferral either.
Founded on lower fees and transparency, dice provides anything but. Their fees are higher than their competitors (Eventbrite, RA etc), they charge more for presale than tier 1 gen sale, and they have even partnered with Ticketmaster (who they claimed to set out to take down). An event “sells out” so the venue adds a day and dice adds “2 day tickets”. They turn on and off ‘transferability’ at a whim when it suites them (waitlist cheap tickets to sell higher) and without any disclosures which they are legally bound to provide. Dice is attempting to create an “App Store” like ecosystem that forces everyone to have and use their product. If they’re this overtly obvious with their bad business practices now, just wait till they achieve mass adoption.
Bought a $100 ticket to a party. They moved the party to a completely different day. I was no longer in the city. I ask for a refund and they said that per their purchase terms they only allowed refunds if the event was canceled. I wrote back and said you moved the event to a day that I couldn’t even attend and you’re still going to keep my money? 😂 Then they wrote back and said if I had responded earlier they would have given the refund, sketchy sketchy They kept my money 😆
