Got through first easy challenge without any hints. Never got through any more without hints. I've never played this type of logic problem presentation, and there are tips and strategies I must learn by trial and error. I recommend this as a definite addition to, if not replacement for, solitaire.
Downloaded this app when I completed the original Logic Puzzles app. This one, unfortunately, does not live up to the original. They’ve replaced “hard” with “left out clues to make them difficult”. When finally, I click on hints to see what I’m missing, I find I’m not missing anything, and it just tells me to mark random squares false until the puzzle is solvable. As opposed to the original where there is actual logical explanations for the hints. I would avoid this app unless they fix it.
Aside from unclear wording in general, even the cats get call the cat whose name is this.... I see no reason why they can’t say the persons whose surname or the band member whose surname. Rather “the one”, please let all virtue signaling stop. Write proprly or don’t write at all.
Visually nice, intuitive/easy to use, many features like highlighting of a row and/or coloumn of your choice (would love being able to do *more* than one, too!), you can mark a clue as done (strikeout) or as in progress. Each story-puzzle credits the writer and has a cute little illustration. Many of the puzzles are real hard for me, which is frustrating. Maybe LogiGrid and PuzzleBaron have easier ones and I just have more learning to do. This app divides them into 3 difficulties, which is great and helpful, but after buying an extra set of puzzles (glad to help!) I've done 20 total and am left with only 2 Casual, 7 Challenging and 11 Extremes X( An option to choose the difficulty level you want to buy more of instead of only offering the mixed bag would be greatly appreciated! The puzzles themselves have a tendency to rely heavily on before/after (e.g. at least two days after X) and greater/less than (e.g. twice as many as Y), which adds fun complexity but is difficult for people who can't visualize numbers as well. Having more puzzles with less of a #/time focus would definitely make me a more eager customer $! I know that must be hard to write, though. PS Would love the addition of some less gendered puzzles, just to add inclusivity by not only having him/her characters. An easy way might be to just use "they" in the clues or use unisex names without assigning them genders. I appreciate that you use a mixture of names that are not just English/American sounding though, that's great! All in all this has provided many hours of relaxing fun for little money! Great on Mobile/tablet! -Lexie, Chris' fiancée
The squares on the phone are way too tiny to tap. You’re very likely to miss, or tap like 3 times in order to clear the rows and columns. Obviously they don’t use the app. They just want you to keep paying. It must be better on the Mobile (with the pencil of course). It was something I wanted to try but obviously I’m going to avoid.
