Bad first impression.

Buggy

I’m using this to edit html and php files on an ftp server. It keeps changing my double quotes to left and right quotation marks, then telling me that I’m not using the correct encoding. Also, copying and pasting text causes a temporary change in font size and color of the whole document. Not sure what other people are using this for, but for editing a simple text file, I’d rather just get a shell and edit using emacs or (ugh) even vi. Glad I tried the lite version first. Update from developer response: This apparently has to do with the smart punctuation feature of iOS 11 (released in September 2017). It is now April 2018, more than 6 months later, and the developers have not produced a fix for this. Instead, the workaround is to disable this helpful feature just for the privilege of using this one app.
