Motion Data Logger is a Utilities app by Andreas Katzian. Motion Data Logger is a simple but effective way to collect motion data from your iOS (iPhone, iPad or iPod touch) device and export it to a CSV file for further preprocessing. The app uses the built-in accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer hardware to gather all data.
APK (Android Package Kit) files are the raw files of an Android app. Learn how to install motion-data-logger.apk file on your phone in 4 Simple Steps:
Yes. We provide some of the safest Apk download mirrors for getting the Motion Data Logger apk.
1. Motion Data Logger is a simple but effective way to collect motion data from your iOS (iPhone, iPad or iPod touch) device and export it to a CSV file for further preprocessing.
2. Note: To enable the recording of your sensor data in background you need to permit your app the location tracking while your app is not in use.
3. After recording you can export the data to a CSV file and send it by email or save it to your Dropbox account directly.
4. You can select your preferred sampling rate as well as your maximum recording time or data points.
5. Please keep in mind, that continued use of location and sensor tracking in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

It is very convenient to log sensor data to Dropbox.
I used this to graph the jerkiness of a motorized standing desk. I placed the phone flat on the desk, raised and lowered the surface, exported the log to Dropbox, converted the semicolons to commas (my one and only complaint), opened in Excel, did some math, and output a graph. I'd like to see the file format fixed (and the three note lines at the bottom of the file removed), but otherwise seems quite functional for my limited use.
I am a doctoral student doing research on motion utilizing accelerometers. I have used multiple apps recording accelerometer motion and this is by far the worst one that I have used. Every other time I utilize the app, it will crash before I have time to export the data. This has caused me to lose motion data that I was depending on for research. Moreover, the times that the app didn't work, after two recording sessions the app would freeze and need to be restarted, thereby causing me to lose the data from the second recording session. To have any chance of getting useful data from this app, you need to use it only one time before restarting it, and in that one time using it it will crash if running for over one minute and trying to export to either dropbox or email. After downloading other accelerometer apps, there were some that had downfalls, but this was by far the worst one that I used. I hope the developer will work on fixing this product so as to not mislead people into paying four dollars for an app that does not do as a claims.
Nice range of data types. Can customize frequency between 10Hz and 100Hz in 10 Hz intervals. Glad that it gives timestamps in real time and not relative. Have not yet tested the data. What are the units?
