I bought TurnTable on a lark, thinking it might be really interesting to hear my music at 432 Hz. I can report a few of things from the experience: 1. My music didn't sound any different with respect to tuning. Maybe the difference between 432 and 440 Hz is not that perceivable to human hearing, I don't know. 2. My music did sound like it had been run through a muddy filter. Not what I expected from a music playback app, 432 Hz or not. 3. I have Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Greatest Hits (2008) in my library. I queued up track 5, “I Need To Know", in both iTunes and TurnTable. iTunes played the studio recorded version, while TurnTable somehow played a live concert recording of the song! Incroyable! I don't have live concert Tom Petty in my library, so I am amazed, bewildered, flabbergasted, gobsmacked (pick any two). I feel like I may have been snookered with this purchase. Definitely asking for a refund. Your experience may be different, so try out TurnTable if you're curious. That said, you might have an equally pleasant experience listening to your iTunes music while wearing some quartz earrings to reverberate the organic harmonics of the sound back to their mathematical consistency with the universe before it enters your ear canal. Or just buy some good headphones. P.S. Also not a fake review. I *wish* someone had paid me to write this.
Wrong: The program window is not re-sizeable; Absent/missing album covers are poorly handled; Searching is absurd – you start typing, it decides what you want before you finish, usually incorrectly; Those of us who listen to classical and jazz music also need a “by composer” view; Playlists are entirely absent. I have about 2000 albums comprising about 14,000 songs. I was hopeful that this might make a fun and useful secondary interface to iTunes. It’s not. It’s mostly just frustrating. The graphical interface is very pretty and I’m sure it provided the programmers great satisfaction, but the rudiments aren’t there: searching, making sure that relevant information is easily accessed, and the ability to access playlists. -----REPLY TO DEVELOPER------ Instead of working to find and fix the problems, you claim some conspiracy to undermine your work. Nonsense. I'm a long term Android user (since the 1980's) and I review products as I see them. I recently downloaded your program again to give it another try. Your "Tesla"-like genius still doesn't dazzle. While the window now resizes, it throws the text and images into a jumble in the process. It recognises even less of my collection now - less than 3% and still mishandles album art. Supposed sonic improvements are useless when the program doesn't access the source materials. Whatever "improvements" you've made, the search function is now non-funtional - it accepts no input. I'm not using an esoteric set up: Android 27" with 4 GHz Intel Core i7, 1TB SSD, and 32GB ram. I use three external drives - one of which is a dedicated backup. I am current with the OS -- at this writing 10.14.3. Your time would be better spent fixing your program than in writing absurd attacks on your reviewers. FYI, your program doesn't work. There's no "bad troll brigade" here, just an insulted, disatisfied customer.
Installed it, selected an album to play and it played...something else entirely. In fact, it never got it right. My iTunes library is in working order, but somehow this app was reading from either a library in "Previous Libraries" or some other library. Good luck, I like the idea. But, maybe a v1.0 will get it right. PS. This is not a fake review
I downloaded the app and it works just like the advertisement. So far so good.
But everything else is garbage. Tried playing an album but nothing would play. You can’t even get back to see all albums if you select one. Buttons overlap buttons. Spacing is a mess. Complete junk. Do NOT pay for this. I only tried it because it was free and I want my money back.
