I do not like this game because I couldn’t even play it why do you need to sign and you just want all of my information?!?!? YOU. MEAN.😈!!!
So I have played the dragon village and I liked that one then I came across this when I got into it and I was grabbing a drink it was still there. I waited and waited and still nothing maybe make a shorter into? But I still love it!
A few years ago I wrote a review for this game. Saying it was “my favorite mobile game, ever.” That was in 2018. Now, I’m a lot less biased (I learned to touch grass lol) and the game has still not improved on its flaws, which are more glaring than ever. Here’s my updated review: The best summary of this game’s situation is this: It fell out of its prime years ago, and it seriously shows. Yet the devs continue updating it, in an attempt to squeeze the last bits of money out of it before moving on. It’s a hollow shell of the game it used to be. I remember playing this back in 2014, when it was still new. A simple story that you didn’t have to go through hoops to progress through, collaborating with other players on boss raids, being able to collect all of the dragons without spending money on it. A Colosseum (the game’s PVP function) with an accessible meta for the F2P players, where everyone had a chance. It all enthralled that younger version of me, and I ended up playing for hours and hours. That’s the game that I miss. The game is extremely P2W (pay-to-win) now. The PVP (and even some of the PVE) is only accessible to the ones who pay the most, with many good dragons, items, etc. difficult to obtain without spending. In fact, the grade system that comes into play when you raise dragons is luck-based, with your only help being from...you guessed it, premium currency. Even if you ignore those parts of the game, it still isn’t all that great. It’s really rough around the edges. The UI is inconsistent, with bits of the old UI showing in some places; the English translation is painfully mediocre, with some phrases not even being translated; old systems, such as the dragon raid system (I’m still kinda sad about it,) being completely abandoned in favor of newer ones. The English forum for it was shut down, too. Now, everything looks so badly cobbled together, and to be honest, I’m sad that it has gone down this path. Also, they removed the little rhythm game you play while it’s downloading years ago, and I’m still salty about it. /lh All in all, Dragon Village 2 is hardly worth playing anymore. What was once a lovely little game that developed on the ideas of its predecessor in a fresh and interesting way has devolved into a blatantly cash-grabbing shell of its former self. It peaked back in 2014 and has only gone downhill since. My biggest question is why the developers still update it. They must think that by continuing to add new things to it and tweak it, its dying playerbase will continue paying and paying. And, well, they’re probably right, but I desperately wish they weren’t.
In this day and time the quality of this game is less than acceptable. It looks like something I would play at the local library computers for 7 year olds so many years ago. And to top that off, with such poor graphics and quality it needs THAT long just to load in? Gameplay is ridiculous? That long just to hatch one egg. If you’re reading this try a game called “dragon village M” beautiful artwork, faster gameplay and constant event updates and which work great for F2P gamers. This game is just a silly excuse and looks like something from early game development, when technology was just beginning to develop. Yikes. At the very least update the artwork if you’re not gonna fix slow loading issues and poor gameplay. Don’t understand how this even has the ratings it does.
Ever since I started playing this game I loved it. Over the years I got caught up with work and forget several accounts that has passwords which was very unhelpful. Most of us english user were lost at the language that was supposed to be designed for this. And the fact that the main screen is now just images and no intro to the whole thing makes it look like it has gotten slightly worse, even more the game isn’t compatible as (properly playable) with my Mobile as I only see 60percent of the screen. Please help us main developers. All of us wants a upgrade.
