Affinity Photo for Android

Serif Software Team has delivered a complete solution for Graphics Designers, Digital Artists and Photographers. They have priced it so right that it is affordable for anyone looking for replacement of Adobe Photoshop. Let the price don't fool you - it has every tool that you need to produce full commercial work. I am running it on my Android Studio Max and Windows 11 i7 laptop. It runs like a charm in both the platforms. I bought licenses for my daughter who has just started internship as a Digital Marketing prfessional. She absolutely loves it as she has no issues running it on her Android Air. I would suggest anyone buying their Design and Publisher as well to get complete Desktop Graphics and Publishing solution. All I can say very software companies are doing things right and Serif is one of them with their Affinity series.

This is an amazing and viable photoshop alternative. The only thing is that its missing a few things such as a batch editor/organizer like lightroom, or something equivalent. Also, as an architectural photographer, I mostly am editing brackets and there is no way to open images as layers. You have to open them one at a time and place eat one on to a single document. So for the time savings alone, I still have my adobe subscription. Im sure it wont be long until Im full time on Affinity Photo, their dev team seems to put out significant updates often. More than I can say about adobe's team, theyre usually busy making more issues while trying to fix existing issues.

I bought this app a couple of years ago, but came back to leave a review because it's been such a great purchase — even if it just does, say, 50% of what Photoshop does, it does like 90% of what any mere mortal would ever want Photoshop to do. Excellent value for the money.

18 Apr 2022 I have beenb using Affinity Phot on my Mobile since it first came out and have also now added it to my Android Mini 2018. I spend a great deal of time with photo editing for both phgoto restoration and recovery and current work and find that Affinoty Photo is comprable to Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom whjich I used for years until Adobe diverted to the subscription based software scheme. My main argument against Adobe is the incredible subscription fees they want that put it out of the realmn for normal amatuer photographers and graphics designers which may operate small businesses. In fact, Adobe's subscriptions border on constant annual extortion so I left all that behind and have adapted to Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher as well as ON1 Photo RAW 2022.1 and it's previous versions. like most intesive photo editing software, Affinity Photo (and On1 Photo RAW) have a fairly large learning curve which really isn't any different that Adobe software. Fortunately for new users who decide to adopt Affinity Photo (and Designer and Producer) there are many learning resources beyond Serif's Affinity publications and videos of which UDEMY is one. It is pretty easy to catch Affinity Photo Courses on sale for as litle as $10 per lecture series. I have found that in the area of Affinity Photo, Simon Foster's Courses are some of the best out there and extremely helpful for new learners. All in all, I am very happy with my choices to jump ship from Adobe. both sets of applications work well on the Android and on the Mobile. I always recommend Affinity Photo and Designer to others iinterested in Photo Editing and photography work and they have been equally as happy with the programs extending from those who do portrait work to astrophotographers.
