I appreciate the purpose of this app, but it’s a little hard to easily conceptualize. I think it would be helpful to include a map (like the one found on the city website) to we can be better informed on where we can/cannot park. Also yes, the cars are reversed.
Clear and concise. Helps me during every snow emergency.
I used this app during a snow emergency in St Paul and moved my car at 8am to a “night plow” which can be parked on the day after a snow emergency begins. The app was wrong, moving my car meant getting a ticket because St Paul has one side night blow routes that are not marked on this app and I parked on the wrong side. Using this app is pointless, it does not accurately show where is safe to park, which is its entire purpose. Download a Minneapolis or St Paul city sponsored app for the right information.
Minneapolis standard emergency rules are odd on their own, but today they layered on new rules: no parking on the even side of all streets (except emergency routes) until April 1. No joke. Snow Alerts had the right info, down to the minute. This is my go-to app for street parking rules in Minneapolis in the winter. Thank you!
This app saved me from a couple tickets or tows. Clear visuals break down the rules in a way that is much easier to understand than the official cities’ apps.
