I paied extra to get email notification. however when i reboot my system it forgets who to notify so i have to fill it out again.
I downloaded this app to test my Internet upload and download speed. I found the app confusing and could not figure out how to check the speeds. So I contacted the app developer, Lyle. He got back to me right away. GREAT communications - thanks Lyle . I guess what I really need for my issue is the Pro version. Altough, I guess the IT version will do everyhting the pro version will do, so I can use it. I can say that this IT verion looks like a pretty robust app with lots of features.
Comforting to have this information and history availble when in doubt as to what your Service Provider is delievering.
The application does all I need to monitor my ISP. Right out of the box with minimal customization necessary. It even sends emails about outages. Contrary to some other reviews, I like the interface/graphics. About the only glitchy thing is the box for entering email(s) doesn’t display the cursor position (did I go to a new line?) The App Store didn’t automatically provide the latest version (why?), and I contacted the developer. My email was answered immediately with the instructions I needed to get the latest version.
In all fairness I should have investigated more before I purchased this app. Unfortunately Network Logger IT is confusing, has a horrible UI design and didn’t make it very easy to accomplish the goal of monitoring an Internet connection. Given the ammount of much better tools out there in the AppStore - for often less $ - I recommend to look into other options… PeakHour is one example.
